Angel is motivated to bridge the communication gap between corporations and military veterans who struggle to obtain employment after leaving the military. As a business strategy, veteran and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) coach, Angel works with the Illinois Tollway Technical Assistance Program (ITTAP).  He advocates for MBE, Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) small to medium size businesses as an advocate for the Illinois Tollway and the business owners.

Most recently, Angel held the role of Director of Change Management for Broadridge Financial Solutions where he oversaw a $3.7 million dollar procurement technology implementation across North America. Prior to his role at Broadridge, Angel was a engagement manager for Ernst and Young Global Professional Services.  At E&Y, he supported the People Advisory Services practice leading Change Management for several Fortune 50 clients including UPS, GE Healthcare and various US federal government projects.

Bush Presidential Institute’s Stand-To Veteran Program, a one-of-a-kind think tank focused on creating policy and solutions on veteran/military spouse employment, housing and mental health issues.  Angel’s capstone project for the program, “Retirement Qualification Standards,” addressed key issues and provided solutions for the social and employment challenges veterans experience when retiring from the military.

Angel is a nationally recognized expert and speaker on Change Management, veteran hiring and executive leadership development. He devotes his free time to supporting immigration, military veteran and diversity initiatives. He serves as on the Board of Directors for Vetjobs/Military Spouse Jobs and National Able Network.
