Matt Schachman founded Chamberlain Advisors, a Chicago- based human capital, staffing and placement, firm. Prior to founding Chamberlain Advisors, Matt participated in debt and equity capital raising and buy- and sell-side M&A transactions while working at Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Investment Banking group.

 

Matt served in the U.S. Army as an Army Infantry Officer for over five years, with active deployment for a total of two years to Iraq and Afghanistan. During his service, Matt held various leadership positions such as Strategic Planner, Executive Officer and Battalion Planner, Scout Platoon Leader, and Platoon Leader.

 

Matt is an alumnus of the United States Military Academy at West Point (BS) and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management (MBA).

Matt is married with four children and lives in the suburbs of Chicago. His civic engagements currently include serving as School Board President, Board Member of Illinois Joining Forces, and a volunteer hockey coach.
