Women Veteran's Program

Illinois is home to nearly 50,000 female veterans.  This number increases significantly when it includes female active duty, Guard, and Reserve members. Women Veterans often have different issues than their male counterparts, and they often prefer resources that address these unique issues. The Women Veteran's Program seeks to identify women-centric and veteran-centric resources, materials, and opportunities to support our women Veterans throughout the State of Illinois. Our Care Coordination Center will work to link you to the resources that best meet your needs as close to home as possible.  IJF will continuously identify local and national women Veteran service providers to meet your needs.  Our Women's Resource and Opportunities page is home to a wide variety of resources, articles, and opportunities that focus on the woman Veteran.
