Military and Veteran 101 for Behavioral Health Practitioners
The workshop includes an overview of military culture, the emotional cycle of deployment, what the military does vs. what community organizations and providers can do, and clinical approaches to working with this unique population. No previous experience or prerequisite is necessary. We hope this introductory session will build a foundation so that more, detailed sessions will follow.
